He recently exited the Dutch club after it came to light that he had been sending scores of sexually provocative messages to female colleagues across the last couple of months along with d*ck pictures. While the nature of the messages isn’t revealed, sources have confirmed he sent them pictures of his genitals as well with EA Sports removing him from FIFA 22 FUT as well in the aftermath of his antics.

Edwin van der Sar sent an email to female stuff on January 25, informing them where to go for help and advice if they had been the victim of sexual harassment with 11 women currently or previously with the club revealing how Marc used to message them. The email was sent following the revelations about sexual assault at television talent show The Voice of Holland and prompted at least one woman to come forward before more emerged.

Early Years Of Marc

Marc had enthusiasm about the sport from a very early age. He initially played with SV Epe before he joined Go Ahead Eagles’ youth team in 1987.

During the 1990-91 season he got a place in the first team, however, he joined Willem II in that time for the following season. Though his time spent with the club was short, as he finished a signed contract after 31 appearances with Ajax in 1992.

He was an extremely important member of the team that won three Eredivisie titles between 1994 and 1996 along with the UEFA Champions League in 1995. Overmars got a cruciate ligament injury in December 1995 due to which he had to rule out of playing for eight months.

Marc Overmars also represented his country, Netherlands national team for 11 years. In 1993 he scored a goal on his international opener against Turkey. He was also a member of the Netherlands team for four significant competitions which included the 1994 and 1998 FIFA World Cups, and 2000 and 2004 European Championships.

In February 2005, Overmars became a shareholder of Go Ahead Eagles.[144] Two months later, he joined the club’s supervisory board to deal with technical matters. His Career After Football

Overmars signed as youth coach of Ajax for one day per week in February 2005. Marc at the end of the 2011–12 seasons left his position at Go Ahead Eagles. He stated, “I have been active on a voluntary basis at the club for seven years. That’s a big time in my life.” The club’s disappointing league form “accelerated” his decision.

Overmars in July 2012 came back to Ajax as the director of football at Ajax . But on February 6th 2022 he again resigned from his position at Ajax after he admitted his crime of him sending a series of inappropriate messages to female colleagues.
