There has been a lot of controversy when the video purportedly depicting a couple having s*x while driving went viral. The individual in the video has been identified as Manoharlal Dhakad, who hails from Madhya Pradesh’s Mandsaur area.

Following the incident, Dhakad was suspended from his position as national secretary of the Ujjain-registered Dhakad Mahasabha.
The viral video, which was filmed on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, has sparked an intense storm in Madhya Pradesh politics.
Dhakad’s wife Sohan Bai is a BJP-backed district panchayat member and is currently representing ward number 8 of Mandsaur District Panchayat.
Manohar Dhakad has been removed from his position as National General Secretary by the Dhakad Mahasabha Youth Association.
The Mahasabha said in a statement that Dhakad has been removed from the post and Dhakad’s wife is a BJP-supported district panchayat member and is currently elected from ward number 8 of Mandsaur district panchayat.
On Dhakad being projected as a BJP leader on social media, the state’s ruling party’s Mandsaur district president Rajesh Dixit said, “Dhakad is not a primary member of the BJP. His wife Sohan Bai is a member of the Zila Panchayat. It is not known if Dhakad has become a member of the party through online medium.”
Manohar Dhakad is known for his association with local politics. He has been linked with a private video scandal.

The incident involving Manohar Dhakad happened on May 13, 2025, close to the Bhanpura area of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway, according to sources. A white automobile is seen halting in the middle of the road in the CCTV footage. Following that, the video shows BJP politician Manohar Dhakad getting out of the car with a woman and doing an obscene act in front of onlookers.
According to official documents from the Transport Department, the vehicle in the video is registered in Dhakad’s name.

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is receiving harsh criticism from opposition politicians and on social media as a result of the video’s viral nature. Although the party has not issued a formal statement, senior leaders are reportedly considering the situation carefully, according to insiders.
Investigation
Mandsaur’s deputy inspector general of police Manoj Kumar Singh said, “In the investigation, the location is turned out to be public place at the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in Bhanpura. Police have registered a case against Manohar Dhakad and another person under sections 296 (obscene act in the public places), 285 (obstructing public way) and 3(5) of BNS.”
Such behaviours in public areas are illegal and provide the wrong impression to the public. Strict action in these situations is now more demanded than ever. According to police officials, after the investigation is over, the proper legal procedure will be followed.
