Actress Manish Koirala joins the Indian Film Jury at the 3rd Diorama International film Festival headed by one of the most prominent Film Directors of the country, Girish Kasravalli
Others on the Jury are Goan Film Critic, Sachin Chate, Cinematographer Sudeep Chatterjee and Film Editor Suresh Pai. The International Feature Film Jury is headed by Sri Lankan Great Prasanna Vithanage and has Bruce McDonald, Cinematographer-Film Director from South Africa, Stare Yildirim, Film Producer-Director from Turkey, Film Programmer and Selector for Locarno Film Festival, Young-Woo Kim, Locarno of South Korea and Sarim Fassi Fihri, Renowned Producer and Former Chief of Centre Cinématographique Marocain, Morocco as Members.
3rd Diorama International Film Festival
The International Short Film Jury at Diorama is headed by the Ukrainian Film Producer, Larysa Gutarevych and has the renowned Actor Arjan Bajwa from India and the Former Chief Curator of Berlinale Shorts, Maike Mia Höhne. While the International Film Jury for Documentary Films is headed by the Australian Activist-Documentary Film Director George Gittoes and has Sherif Awad, Film Critic-Programmer, Alexandria Film Festival and Indian Actor Documentary Film Director, Rahul Vohra as members.
The Jury for Critics Choice Awards formed by the Film Critics Circle of India has Film Critics Deepa Gehlot, Utpal Dutta and S Vishwanath as members of the Jury. The Juries decide on the festival’s Golden and Silver Sparrow Awards across 23 categories.
The weeklong third edition of the festival begins on 18th December 2021 in a hybrid form. Apart from holding online screenings of all 130+ films from 84 countries, the festival will have offline, ground screenings at New Delhi’s Siri Fort Auditorium on 18th and 19th December 2021. In a first of its kind, the festival has launched its own OTT platform ‘Diorama Live’ to screen all festival films.
The Diorama Film Bazaar shall develop and nurture around 15 Film Projects this year helping Film Makers find funds by pitching their film projects directly to the Film Producers and Film Funds. Mentored by Elliot Grove, Founder, Raindance Film Festival, Irakli Chikvaidze, Head, Sarke Studio, Georgia, Turkish Film Producer-Director, Stare Yildirim, Indian Film Director, Ananth Mahadevan Film Producer Sanjay Gulati, the Hollywood Screen Writer, Producer-Director, Brian Herskowitz, Film Makers shall pitch their projects on 21st and 22nd December 2021 at the Film Bazaar.
Headed by Manoj Srivastava, the veteran Film Festival Director who headed IFFI and many other film festivals, Diorama International Film Festival aims at developing a film industry in Delhi.
The Festival webinars present the likes of Berlinale’s Crystal Bear winning Film Director Rafael Kapelinski, Director, Programming of Hot Docs, Canada, Shane Thomas, Anupam Tripathi, the Indian Actor from Squid Game , Madhur Bhandarkar, Amole Gupte, Laurent Crouzeix, Co-Executive Director of World’s biggest Short Film Festival, Sound Designer of the famed Web Series Money Heist, Mikel Z Castells and many others.
The First Cut section of Diorama Film Bazaar, a meeting place for Film Producers, Distributors, Exhibitors and Sales Agents presents over 100 films for acquisition with some of the biggest Film Distributors and Sales Agents being present the Film Bazaar.
