Mason Mount

Mount is set to miss the upcoming two games against Nottingham Forest and Arsenal following an unspecified injury. As of now a return date after the international break has been set by officials. According to statements:

The small complaint is expected to keep Mount out until the international break next month.”

Rasmus Hojlund

New signing Rasmus Hojlund is still yet to make his debut and could possibly make his debut this weekend. The 20-year-old striker has been out with a back injury for all of pre-season. Hojlund hinted about a possible debut in the upcoming clash with Nottingham Forest after posting a recent picture from workout with the caption “soon” on Friday. As of now, Erik ten Hag has remained silent on the issue.

Harry Maguire

Maguire missed out on action in United’s current 2-0 loss to Tottenham. According to Ten Hag:

Harry picked up a small issue yesterday in the final training session, therefore he could not travel with us.”

Tyrell Malacia

Young Dutch defensive sensation Tyrell Malacia is currently still out injured from an unspecified injury carried over from last season. Malacia has not featured in any pre-season game and will miss some of the opening rounds of the season. Earlier this month, Ten Hag confirmed that Malacia “will take some time” to clear up.

Kobbie Mainoo

Aside from starters and rotational players, Manchester United also have a young teenage midfielder named Mainoo on their injury list. Mainoo reportedly suffered from an ankle injury during the side’s pre-season clash against Real Madrid and is set to return by late October.
