There have been widespread appeals to shift the semi-final away from Wembley due to the lack of direct train service from the north-west to London that weekend, but the FA has refused.
It means there are only six days between their Premier League match at the Etihad and their FA Cup match at Wembley, making for a hectic week that also includes a Champions League encounter in the middle.
While Liverpool hosts Benfica in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final, City will travel to Atletico Madrid in their domestic matchup. The semi-final will be played against a backdrop of rage from both sets of fans, with no direct trains from Manchester or Liverpool to London Euston that weekend sure to cause travel problems.

The match will now take place on Saturday, April 16 at Wembley, with kick-off at 3.30pm (BST).
Arrangements By Club And Hosts
Because of rail engineering work, fans will be unable to travel to the capital by train. However, City said earlier this week that they will provide at least 50 buses to carry fans to and from Wembley Stadium.
The FA has also confirmed that they will arrange transportation for 5,000 fans, with 100 coaches scheduled to depart from Anfield and the Etihad on game day.
