Jamal Baptiste, a 20-year-old defender for Manchester City, was caught inhaling laughing gas with a friend while stopped at traffic lights in his VW Polo in Dagenham, East London, on July 7 last year.

Jamal Baptiste Fined £1,000
Baptiste admitted to driving without due care and attention. He received six penalty points on his license and a £1,000 fine from magistrates in Bromley, South London.
Additionally, he was ordered to pay a £400 victim surcharge and £110 in costs. This incident follows a report revealing that another Premier League player was undergoing rehabilitation for nitrous oxide addiction.
Baptiste, formerly a promising prospect at West Ham as a center-back, was once likened to Rio Ferdinand by Carlton Cole, a former striker for the club.
