Anime Fans Reaction to the Makoto Shinkai film festival
An overwhelming number of Indian anime fans expressed interest in seeing Your Name in a theater. Your Name, generally regarded as Makoto Shinkai’s magnum opus, was unfortunately never released in Indian theaters. This film had record-breaking success at the box office. It comes as no surprise that moviegoers in India can’t wait to see this in theaters.
Everyone is excited, and many fans have also said that they would like to see the films with a Hindi dub. This suggests that dubbing a film into any language will alter the viewing experience. However, the film appears to be available exclusively in Japanese with English subtitles.
Films that will be shown at Makoto Shinkai film festival
These are several of Makoto Shinkai’s best-known works. The publication of 5 Centimeters Per Second caused quite a stir because it was a cinematic tour de force. The filmmaker ended up setting the bar for the quality of animation and storytelling as a whole. Another masterpiece will also be included like Your Name and Suzume.
- Suzume
- 5 Centimeters Per Second
- Your Name
- Weathering With You
- Children Who Chase Lost Voices from Deep Below
