Lucas Bergvall to Join Tottenham?

In the recent days, the midfielder held discussions with senior officials from both Barcelona and Tottenham, making Spurs’ triumph in the signature race a significant achievement.

Bergvall will continue the current season with Djurgardens before joining Tottenham’s first team at the season’s conclusion. In a related development, Tottenham revealed that Argentine striker Alejo Veliz has joined LaLiga side Sevilla on loan for the remainder of the season.

Meanwhile, Fulham is set to secure Chelsea striker Armando Broja on loan for the rest of the season, with a loan fee of £4 million ($5.1m). The deal is anticipated to be completed before the 11 p.m. UK time (6 p.m. ET) deadline, and the loan fee may be waived if the Albania international makes 10 starts for Fulham.

Chelsea initially sought a permanent sale with a £50 million ($63.7m) valuation, but they eventually agreed to a loan move for a £5 million fee ($6.4m), which Fulham successfully negotiated down. Broja, who has struggled to find his form at Chelsea, will aim to boost Fulham’s attacking prowess following Aleksandar Mitrovic’s departure.

With just 28 goals in 22 Premier League games, Marco Silva’s side has faced challenges in front of goal this season, ranking second only to Manchester United (24) in the number of goals scored among the top 13 teams.

Tottenham Will Pay £8.5 Million to Bergvall

Additionally, Tottenham is poised to sign midfielder Lucas Bergvall from Djurgarden for a fee nearing £8.5 million. The 17-year-old, with 25 appearances in the Swedish top flight, is scheduled for a medical on Friday and is set to sign a five-year deal, joining Tottenham’s first team in the upcoming summer.

Despite previous links to Barcelona, Bergvall has opted for a move to the Premier League. In a separate move, Tottenham’s 20-year-old striker Alejo Veliz has secured a loan to La Liga side Sevilla.
