Love Is For Suckers Plot
“Love is for suckers” is a romantic comedy-drama, which portrays two best friends from 20 years ago who are now in their 30s. The two friends develop a romance after unexpectedly meeting on a reality show.
The main character is television producer Goo Yeo Rum (Lee Da Hee). Yeo Rum works harder than other producers and despite working for ten years in her profession, she has only created failed shows.
This changes when she gets an opportunity to develop a new reality TV show featuring a dating theme. The new show is titled “The Kingdom of Love” and she is determined to make it a huge success. Goo has problems gathering the show’s producers and also in assembling suitable participants for the show.
This is when she turns to Park Jae Hoon, who is her neighbor and best friend of 20 years. Park, who is a cosmetic surgeon by profession, is struggling in doing his work and finding love.
Despite failing several times in finding love in the past, Park agrees to help her Goo and becomes a participant on the show.
The pair fall in love while playing their roles as producer and cast member and have trouble dealing with it.
