“Looking forward to competitive competitions with him,” Rajon Rondo Alludes At Ending Feud With Russell Westbrook After Completing Move To Los Angeles Lakers

Rajon Rondo talked about his switch to Los Angeles Lakers along with commenting on how he was looking forward to playing with Russell Westbrook

Returning to Los Angeles Lakers with the club snagging him up in the NBA free agency, Rajon Rondo’s move back to the club was a welcome one. A player who is well versed with the land of the showpiece league, Rondo’s advent into the Lakers’ roster was bound to serve as a shot in the arm to the team’s upcoming campaign.

However, one issue which threatened to spoil the comradery in the Lakers’ camp was the feud between Rondo and newly acquired Russell Westbrook. The two had publicly bickered in the past with things getting ugly between the two after Rondo’s brother had called Westbrook trash.

Westbrook had subsequently gone onto foul Rondo at a game as things turned sour between the two. However, as Rondo completed his move to the Lakers, the player who’ll be back up to Westbrook in the point guard ambit hinted at putting the fracas between him and Westbrook to bed.

Asked about how he was feeling about playing with Westbrook, Rondo went onto say, “More excitement, more energy in practice. Looking forward to a lot more competitive competitions with him and other guys on the team.”

Rondo who was fraught with injuries last season, ones which hindered him from appearing for the Clippers went onto talk about how those problems were water under the bridge now. He also dismissed talk of the Lakers being an aging team with him affirming how experience was only going to play in the team’s favour.
