London’s New Year Eve fireworks are returning for 2023 after a two-year hiatus. Due to the pandemic, the famed event—which sees London’s sky lighted up with a massive melodic firework show at midnight—has been postponed twice.

Due to COVID-19, there was no ticketed display in 2020 or 2021, however, this year sees the return of the fireworks above the London Eye. At midnight, fireworks will be let off in front of the London Eye, and Big Ben will chime to signal the start of a new year.
Anyone unable to attend in person may still see the spectacle live on BBC One and iPlayer.
However, if you wanted to see the event in person, you need to hurry up because as Mayor Sadiq Khan assurances that this year’s celebration will be the “best ever,” tickets for the massive event have already sold out in record time since they went on sale this week.

How To Get Tickets For London New Year’s Eve Fireworks 2023?
On Friday, October 21, the first round of tickets went on sale at 12 p.m. and are already sold out. At the beginning of December, more tickets will go on sale, though an exact date hasn’t been made public yet.

No matter which region you select, each ticket costs £15 to purchase.
Types Of Tickets Available
- Blue: The Victoria Embankment section between Westminster Bridge and the Golden Jubilee Footbridge is covered by the blue ticket. Only the north bank of the River Thames may reach this. You may get this head-on view from 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. it is located just across from the London Eye.
- Red: The Victoria Embankment section between the Golden Jubilee Footbridge and Temple Avenue is covered by the red ticket. Only the north bank of the River Thames may reach this. A side view looking down from the London Eye is shown here. From 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., you can enter.
- Pink: Pink tickets grant admission to the Waterloo Bridge, but only if you use the north or south portals. This bridge prevents you from accessing all of the ticketed sections. You may see a portion of this side of the London Eye between 8:30 and 10:30 at night.
- Green: The London Eye’s backstage area is covered by the green ticket. This is only accessible from the river’s south bank. This is a close-up shot looking directly at the Eye. From 8 p.m. to 10:30 p.m., you can enter.
- White: Westminster Bridge is accessible with white tickets. This is only accessible from the river’s south bank. From Westminster’s subterranean station, there is no access to this area. You may see this partial side view near the London Eye between the hours of 8 and 10:30 p.m.
- Orange: Orange tickets only allow admission from the south bank of the river and cover Albert Embankment, Riverside, and St. Thomas’ Hospital. From 8 p.m. until 10:30 p.m., you can enter this side of the London Eye.
