On July 23, the 2023 London Diamond League will be hosted at the London Stadium, which has a rich history and hosted the 2012 National Games. Notably, numerous Olympic champions and world-renowned athletes, including Americans Noah Lyles, Fred Kerley, & Sha’Carri Richardson will participate in this event.

2023 London Diamond League schedule, date, venue, & key competitors
After Silesia, where Jackson just barely defeated Richardson in the women’s 100m, they take their ongoing rivalry to London. Dina Asher-Smith, the 2019 world champion, and Marie Jose Ta Lou of Cote d’Ivoire will also use the competition to prepare for Budapest. Lyles, the current men’s 200m world champion will face-off against Zharnel Hughes, the British national sprint double champion, who hopes to excite the audience with yet another quick finish after dominating a soggy track in Manchester.
Sifan Hassan, whose brilliant victory at the 2023 London race ignited her marathon career, will compete in the women’s 5000m in the English capital. However, local fans will support Eilish McColgan, the current Commonwealth Games winner who will spearhead team GB’s long-distance squad in Budapest. In the shot put, two-time American Olympic champion Crouser continues to be the man to beat, as does fellow world champion Kristjan, who will compete against reigning Olympic gold medalist Daniel Stahl.

It is official that the 2023 Monaco Diamond League will be streamed live on the Wanda Diamond League YouTube account. For American viewers, it will be broadcast by NBC on CNBC and Peacock.
