The Mid-Season Invitational 2022 will take place in Busan, South Korea, on May 10, 2022, with the finals on May 29. Given the teams who have entered this year, spectators will undoubtedly witness one of the most entertaining tournaments in history.
Everything you need to know about the MSI 2022 qualified teams and groups draw for League of Legends fans.
Before beginning the grouping process, make a list of all the teams who have qualified for the event. The following are the names of the teams, as well as their regions:
- LPL (China): Royal Never Give Up
- LCK (South Korea): T1
- LEC (Europe): G2 Esports
- LCS (North America): Not Available
- PCS (Pacific): PSG Talon
- VCS (Vietnam): Saigon Buffalo
- TCL (Turkey): Istanbul Wildcats
- LLA (Latin America): Team Aze
- CBLOL (Brazil): Red Canids
- LJL (Japan): DetonatioN FocusMe
- LCO (Oceania): ORDER
As a result, the list of teams that will be competing this year is rather impressive. Royal Never Give Up, T1, and G2 Esports, on the other hand, will be the most exciting teams to watch.
T1 has never won an international trophy throughout South Korea, Royal Never Give Up is the current Mid-Season Invitational champion, and G2 Esports defeated both the previous time they faced. As a result, the stage has been set, and the sides are preparing their game plans.
Regardless, before the massacre begins, all three of these teams will have to wait. Because they’ll all need to advance from the group stages, this is the case.
There will be a Rumble and Elimination stage after the group stages are completed. The top two teams from each group will advance to the Rumble stage, where they will compete against one another for a spot in the knockout stages.
