There were seven regular-season tournaments, each with a payout of $25 million, of which $5 million went to the teams and $20 million to the competitors individually.

The player who placed last in the 48-man events won $120,000 in addition to the $4m that each individual winner received. Each tournament’s winning team was awarded $3 million to be divided among its four members.

The $50 million prize pool for the 12 teams was up for grabs at the season’s grand finale, the Team Championship, held at Trump Doral in Miami. The winner, 4Aces GC, received the $16 million first prize.

Nevertheless, which golfers have won LIV matches so far? In June, South African Branden Grace won in Portland before fellow countryman Charl Schwartzel won the first round in London.

At Trump National Bedminster, Henrik Stenson won on his debut; Dustin Johnson won in Boston; and Cam Smith triumphed in Chicago on his second LIV start.

Eugenio Lopez-Chacarra of Spain won the LIV Golf Invitational Jeddah, and four-time Major champion Brooks Koepka snapped his winless streak by winning the LIV Golf Tournament’s inaugural Asian event in Bangkok.

Dustin Johnson’s 4 Aces GC has dominated the team competition, winning four of the seven events with DJ, Patrick Reed, Talor Gooch, and Pat Perez (Portland, Bedminster, Boston, Chicago).

Sergio Garcia and his Fireballs GC partners Abraham Ancer, Carlos Ortiz, and Chacarra won the opening round in Bangkok, while Louis Oosthuizen’s Stinger GC, which included the 2010 Open Champion, Schwartzel, Grace, and Hennie Du Plessis, triumphed in London.

By winning in Jeddah, Koepka’s Smash GC colleagues Chase Koepka, Peter Uihlein, and Jason Kokrak were able to earn their first team title.

With the $50 million Team Championship in Miami from October 28 to 30, LIV’s inaugural season comes to a close. The winning team will receive $16 million, which will be split four ways, with the second-place team receiving $10 million and the third-place team receiving $8 million apiece. Even the last-place team will receive $1 million in prize money.

68 different players participated in the LIV Golf events, and 52 of them won more than $1 million. The on-course earnings were dominated by former World No. 1 Dustin Johnson, who earned more than $35 million after winning the Individual Championship and Team Championship prizes.

DJ finished with a win, two third-place finishes, a fourth, a sixth, an eighth, and a T-15th place finish throughout the seven individual LIV events he competed in.

The two-time Major winner led 4Aces GC to victory in the Team Championship as their captain. For their victory in Miami, Johnson Talor Gooch, Patrick Reed, and Pat Perez each got an additional $16 million ($4 million each).

Branden Grace, who won the second competition in Portland, earned more than $16 million after receiving an $8 million bonus for placing second in the Individual Championship.

Although Open champion Cameron Smith brought home more than $7m, Patrick Reed earned $1.5m in each event and more than $12m overall.
