The Oklahoma City Thunder guard received widespread criticism for the video, and in a recent development, the alleged minor linked to the NBA star liked a post on Instagram that contained information about the league’s investigation into Giddey.
The post included an excerpt from CBS News that provided more information about the NBA’s investigation into Giddey’s alleged inappropriate relationship. Liv Cook is the profile that liked the post.
Giddey Chose Not to Discuss
Previously, Giddey participated in a practice session with the Thunder team on Friday. However, both he and Thunder head coach Mark Daigneault chose not to discuss the incident.
Daigneault told reporters, “It’s a personal matter, and I have no comment on it. And that’ll be my comment on anything related.” Giddey also refrained from providing additional information, stating that there was nothing more to add at the time.

The guard is currently in the midst of his third NBA season, having been selected as the No. 6 overall pick in the 2021 NBA Draft. Prior to joining the NBA, he showcased his skills with the Adelaide 36ers in the Australian NBL.

It is claimed that the pair met in a nightclub, with some using this as a defence of Giddey’s name, claiming that a minor shouldn’t have been allowed entry, most likely with a fake ID, and thus he had a reasonable expectation that she was of legal age.
