Gerard Pique has caught some attention, not because of his performance but his involvement in a corruption scandal including Spanish FA (The Royal Spanish Football Federation) president Luis Rubiales. El Confidencial, releases a sensational report that states that defender Pique might be in problem and can be caught for corruption along with Rubiales.
Listen Gerard Pique Leaked Audios Reveal Luis Rubiales Paid Him To Take The Spanish Super Cup To Saudi Arabia As Audio Clip Tape Goes Viral
El Confidencial released some audios that tell that the Spanish FA president Rubiales agreed to pay the Barcelona defender around 6 Million euros in negotiations with taking Supercopa de Espana to Saudi Arabia. The center back is also been heard discussing how the payments will be divided while Rubiales assures him of a 6 million euros commission.
While Rubiales always denied the fact Gerard Pique has never been involved in his investments fund kosmos in the negotiations on the Supercopa, the leaked audio tells something else that might put them in some trouble. A report by MARCA says that the RFEF signed an agreement that guaranteed them 40 million euros for Supercopa to be held in Saudi Arabia per edition and the Kosmos to take 4 million euros for each tournament held for a six-year time that records a total of 24 million euros.
This was all reported by El Confidencial exclusively on Monday. They also revealed the recordings of the conversation between Pique and Rubiales. In one of the recordings, the Barcelona defender talked about rivals Los Blancos and was heard saying, “If it’s about money and (Real Madrid) would go for 8 million euros, then they get paid 8 million euros and Barcelona get 8 million euros too,” said Pique.
He further was heard saying that the other gets paid 2 million euros and 1 million euros and “that’s 19 million euros and you, federation keep 6 million euros.” He then said that they can push Saudi Arabia for more instead of it being hosted in Spain where the president doesn’t even get 3 million euros, “think about it.”

A leaked audio from Piqué: "Look Rubi. If it's a money thing, Real Madrid would accept €8m man. You can do €8m for Madrid and €8m for Barça. You can do €2m and €1m for the other two. And the federation could stay with €6m. And we can push Saudi Arabia for an extra €1-2m."

Supercopa has always been traditionally organized between the champions of La Liga and the team that lifts the Copa del Rey trophy in Spain but in 2019, it was announced that the tournament will be held among four teams that also now include the finalists of both the competitions along with the winners.
