A new 911 recording indicates that Dwayne Haskins’ worried wife contacted officers the morning of the quarterback’s death, stating she was concerned for her husband after he was trapped on the interstate hunting for petrol before he stopped responding to her.
Kalabyra Haskins claims she was phoning from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, around 10 minutes after speaking with Dwayne in the early hours of April 9 over the phone.

Dwayne had contacted Kalabrya from the side of the road near I-95 in Broward County, FL. He stated his car had broken down and he was walking to locate petrol.
Kalabyra can be heard on the recording stating, he was going to call me back when he finished putting the gas in, but she claims he never did.
She continued calling and calling, Kalabyra said to the dispatcher. He was deafeningly silent. After around ten minutes of phoning, the phone was disconnected. It’s not functioning right now. She knew where he was. She simply wants someone to go to the location and verify whether his car is still there, if he’s OK, and what happened to him.
After a little while… the officer informed Kalabyra, He don’t want her to be alarmed, but he has to be honest with her. They had an issue on the highway, but he was not sure if it was her spouse.
A witness can be heard informing a dispatch officer in a separate 911 call. In front of him, a man was hit. He was driving down the road when he observed a dump truck collide with a man.
Dwayne was killed after being hit by a dump truck while strolling on the highway in Florida. As we previously reported. Cops have not revealed any other information on the event, stating that an investigation is underway.
Dwayne was just 24 years old at the time.
