10. Abdul Samad (SRH)

The 20-year-old explosive batsman was retained by SRH in 4cr as he showed great potential in the last couple of seasons. His six-hitting ability impressed everyone but his consistency is questionable. Samad has played just 2 games for SRH this season in which he scored just 4 runs. He was dropped by the team after a couple of failures.

9. Matthew Wade (GT)

The Australian wicket-keeper batsman and the star of the T20 WC 2021 semi-final haven’t been quite impressive in the IPL 2022. He has been tested as an opener by GT but he failed to deliver for them. Wade has played 5 games of Gujrat in which 68 runs with an average of 13.6. GT bought him for 2.4 crores in the auction and till now it has been a disappointing deal.

8. Shahrukh Khan (PBKS)

The most expensive uncapped batsman Shahrukh khan has struggled to find a way to score runs. His price tag can be a factor that has put pressure on the young shoulders. He has played 7 games in which he scored 98 runs at an average of 16.33 with a strike rate of 100. PBKS bought him 9cr for the finishing role in their team but the latter has failed to deliver.

7. Jonny Bairstow (PBKS)

The Englishman has been the late entrant in the ongoing IPL because of their international duty. Bairstow has played the last 4 games of PBKS in which he scored 41 runs with a strike rate of 106.13. The constant failure of Chakravarty is letting down KKR. In 7 innings Chakravarty has leaked runs with an economy of 8.84 and has got just 4 wickets.

The Caribbean all-rounder got the unexpected bid of 7.75 cr in the IPL auction. Shephard’s IPL performance is not justifying his actual capability as he has struggled. He has played 2 games in which he has conceded 75 runs with wickets. With the bat also he managed to score just 32 runs.

Chris Jordan who is known for his death bowling has been struggling with the form at the moment. He has played 4 games in which he took 2 wickets with an expensive economy of 10.52. CSK bought Chris Jordan at 3.60 cr.

Another English pace bowler who has struggled his way throughout the tournament. Mills has leaked a lot of runs regardless of the fact he picked up 6 wickets. He has played 5 games in which he concedes 190 runs with an economy of 11.18 runs per over.
