The Delhi daredevils side which topped the league table in 2012 lost its momentum at the end of a spectacular season. They lost both of their playoff games at the end of the season and started the 2013 season miserably. Mahela Jayawardene led side failed to win a single game in their first 6 matches of 2013. The star-studded team of Kolkata Knight Riders team Lost consecutive 9 matches in the mid-season of 2009. Having the likes of Brendon McCullum, Chris Gayle, and Sourav Ganguly they failed to get going. The team was led by two captains Brendon McCullum and Sourav Ganguly. Pune Warriors India 2012 season started off with a bang as they beat Mumbai and Punjab in their first 2 matches. But the team again left with no answer in the Midseason as they won only two more games after the first couple of wins. Pune lost 12 matches in that season in 16 games and later on sacked Sourav Ganguly as the captain.
