In ODI cricket, batsmen have scored a total of 12 double centuries. 10 of the 12 have come in men’s ODI cricket, with the other two coming in women’s ODI cricket. Shubman Gill became the newest member of the format’s illustrious double-century club. On Wednesday (January 18), he scored 208 runs off 148 balls in the opening ODI of the three-match series against New Zealand at the Rajiv Gandhi International cricket stadium.

When Virendra Sehwag scored 2019 against WI in 2011, he became the second double-centurion in ODI history.
#4. Chris Gayle – 215 vs ZIM – 2015
The Universal boss is fourth on the list, with 215 runs scored against Zimbabwe in 2015.
#5. Fakhar Zaman – 210* vs ZIM – 2018
Fakhar Zaman is the first Pakistani player to have scored a double century in one-day internationals. In 2018, he scored 210* against ZIM.
#6. Ishan Kishan – 210 vs BAN – 2022
Ishan Kishan became the sixth Indian to achieve a double century in one-day internationals. In 2022, he scored 210 runs against Bangladesh.

In 2013, Rohit Sharma earned his first double-century and made 209 runs against Australia.

This was Rohit Sharma’s third double-century in one-day international cricket, after making 208 runs against Sri Lanka in 2017.

Sachin Tendulkar became the first player in men’s ODI cricket history to score a double century. In 2010, he scored 200* against South Africa.
