In the midst of the Summer Olympics 2024, letโs quickly glance at the list of Indian athletes who have so far won multiple medals at the Olympics for India
Manu Bhaker showcased remarkable composure as she made history at the 2024 Paris Olympics for the second time in three days.
With this victory, India celebrated its second medal at the Paris Games, and Manu became the first athlete from independent India to win two medals in a single edition of the Olympics.

India has won a total of 37 medals at the Olympics, including 10 golds, 9 silvers, and 18 bronzes. Manu Bhaker became the latest addition to this prestigious list of Indian Olympic medalists with her double bronze performance in Paris 2024.
Bhaker, who clinched the bronze in the womenโs 10m air pistol event, achieved another milestone by winning a second bronze medal on Tuesday, July 30 in the mixed team 10m air pistol event alongside Sarabjot Singh.
She now aims for further glory in the womenโs 25m pistol event at the Summer Olympics in Paris. With her second medal in Paris, Bhaker became the first Indian to win more than one medal at the same Olympics.

Besides her, other athletes such as members of the menโs hockey team, javelin thrower Neeraj Chopra, boxer Lovlina Borgohain, and weightlifter Mirabai Chanu could also become multi-time medalists.
