Here is the list of Premier League players who will be leaving for AFCON 2023 and AFC Asian Cup 2024

When the 2023 AFC Asian Cup and AFCON event begin, international tournament football takes central stage.

On Saturday, January 13, 2024 and Sunday, February 11, 2024, AFCON will be played while from Friday, January 12, 2024, until Saturday, February 10, 2024, is when the Asian Cup will begin.

European clubs will be lacking in significant talent given how globally integrated football has become over the past three decades, with all but three Premier League sides fielding at least one player in the competition.

Due to their participation in the Asia Cup or the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), dozens upon dozens of players have already received red flags in the Premier League (EPL). The impacted players will miss at least one Gameweek and possibly up to four because both tournaments begin in mid-January and last for around a month.

Due to the return of the winter break this season, players whose nation is eliminated in the Asian Cup or AFCON group stage will probably only miss one Premier League match (in Gameweek 21). Meanwhile, those that advanced to the championship game (or third-place playoff), naturally, would have to miss four elite matches.

Just three Premier League teams, including Manchester City, Burnley and Newcastle United, will not have their roster shrunk for the Asia Cup and Africa Cup of Nations this month.
