On Sunday, October 2, it was reported that Lily is dating Lee Byrne, who just may be linked to the Irish mob.
The paparazzi spotted the 18-year-old returning from Ibizia with her alleged boyfriend. As per her social media, she was on holiday with friends.
The 23-year-old Lee Byrne, who stays in Formby, is often seen hanging out with Lilly Gerrard in his neighborhood.
The duo is not hiding their relationship as there are various Instagram stories of them like the one where Lee is kissing Lilly’s head.
There are also photos of the couple together flying back from Ibiza on their private jet. However, the talk of the town isn’t about their photographs.
But Lee’s father, Liam Byrne who was spotted with Steven Gerrard in Ibiza, is reportedly said to be a close acquaintance of an Irish mobster.
It has been reported that Liam Byrne is an associate of Daniel Kinahan, who’s an Irish businessman. As per the reports, Kinahan is said to have been involved in several killings in the country.
Daniel has also been suspected of money laundering and drug smuggling amounting to multi-million pounds.
The connection between the Byrnes’ association with this particular Irish mob surfaced during a 2018 court case in Ireland.
At the time, there were many claims that Liam Byrne was part of the top tier of Kinahan’s group. He was even described as his “lieutenant.”
When Liam’s son Lee Byrne got into an accident in January of crashing his car, trolls have taken to joking about him taking after his father.
Well as of now we can’t say whether these claims are true or not. But Lily has happily shown off her new boyfriend to her followers and friends via Instagram.
The couple have been spotted going on dates at coffee bars. Lily has also shared cute pictures such as getting her boyfriend’s initials on her fingernail and covering his face with a heart emoji.
The two have also been spotted taking Gerrards’ dogs for a walk. After learning the news of them dating, the internet is amused.
