Roman Reigns dismissed John Cena’s challenge and gave Cena a dressing down during WWE Smackdown Live as he called him the missionary position
With WWE Money in the Bank ending with the return of John Cena to the ring after a hiatus of 15 months, Friday night’s WWE Smackdown live was a much awaited event. It was down to Cena challenging Roman Reigns at MITB 2021 with the story set to further unfold at Smackdown.
And WWE ensured that they gave their ardent supporters exactly what they were awaiting. Smackdown marked the return of John Cena as he came to the ring to once again call out and Roman Reigns.
Asking Reigns to come out and face him as he called him a life less ego maniac in his promo. Despite doing his best to cajole Reigns out to squabble with him, the best Cena could get was Paul Heyman.
Heyman who was sent by Roman Reigns ended up decimating Cena as he came out performing Cena’s entrance theme. It was a gob smacking bit, one which saw Heyman completely rip apart Cena’s, you can’t see me entrance move.

WWE Smackdown Live: Roman Reigns Calls John Cena And His Act The Missionary Position
However, that wasn’t the end of Cena being torn into bits on the night. Roman Reigns who stepped out into the ring during the main event in Ohio spared no expense in reducing Cena into pulp as he lambasted Cena’s mundane acts over the years.

“With the same music, same outfit, same entrance, same run to the ring, same promo, and same insults,” Reigns said as he said there was absolutely no difference between the Cena of 2205 in the WWE and today. However, Reigns best bit was him comparing Cena to the missionary sex position every night, a jibe at Cena being way too boring and repetitive.
It was an incredible hit out at Cena after which Reigns went onto trounce Cena’s challenge for a fight. He instead went onto accept a proposal from Finn Balor, a fight which is likely to take place in the build up to Summerslam where Cena and Reigns are slated to lock heads.
