Previously we witnessed, Lacey alerted Halid that he had a visitor, and Marsela entered the room to greet Halid. But Halid walked out of the room without even looking at her; he asked Lacey whether she had eaten.

Lacey told him she hadn’t, but she was going to have lunch with the visitor. Lacey reminded Halid that he had a guest and that he wanted to have lunch with her alone.
Halid told her it was such a shame that their time had been cut short because of the visitor. Marsela saw that Halid had changed significantly; he had no idea Halid could make such an expression because she had never seen that side of him.
She recalled him not showing that side to her sister, who was always one step ahead of her. Marsela became even more desperate to get between them, and the three of them sat down for lunch.
Lacey told Marsela that she was probably starving from waiting for Halid. Marsela told Lacey she was too nice and that she reminded her of her sister.
Lacey initially felt Marsela was a naïve lady, but after that comment, she realized Marsela had a reckless nature. Lacey informed Ma that the kofta was absolutely amazing.
Marsela was startled when Lacey didn’t respond to her comment. She was wondering if Lacey was unaware of her sister’s existence. Lacey inquired about Marsela’s well-being because she appeared distressed.
