Livingstone has been out of action since December because of a knee injury. He recently got shots that seem to have helped, and he now hopes to get permission from the ECB to go to India within the next 48 hours. In a film that Lancashire Cricket shared on Twitter, Livingstone said, “See you soon, @PunjabKingsIPL,” which showed that he was looking forward to going back to work.

The return of Liam Livingstone is a big help for the Punjab Kings, who are losing English batters Jonny Bairstow, who is out with an injury, and Sikandar Raza, who hasn’t done much in the tournament so far. Sunrisers Hyderabad stun Punjab Kings with unbeaten knocks in IPL 2023 clash
The Punjab Kings lost to the Sunrisers Hyderabad in their last game. The Sunrisers had to reach 145/2 in 17.1 overs to make their goal of 144 runs. Rahul Tripathi’s unbeaten 74 runs off 48 balls helped them get there. Aiden Markram, the team’s captain, also got 37 runs in a perfect game by hitting 21 balls.
Shikhar Dhawan’s unbeaten innings of 99 runs off 66 balls, which included 12 fours and five sixes, helped the Punjab Kings reach 143/9 in 20 overs, setting a goal of 144 runs. Mayank Markande got rid of four batsmen for the Sunrisers, while both Umran Malik and Marco Jansen got rid of two batsmen each.
In their next game, on April 13, against the Gujarat Titans, the Punjab Kings will try to make up for their loss. Liam Livingstone joining the team will give them a much-needed boost as they try to keep their IPL 2023 dreams alive.
