Former Hartlepool United midfielder, Len Johnrose died at the age of 52 after battling long with Motor Neurone disease, know his net worth in 2022
He was diagnosed with Motor Neurone disease in March 2017 after a hand injury failed to heal Properly. Later, a trust was set up in his name to raise funds and to spread awareness for the disease that doesn’t have a cure.

The tragic news of professional football player’s death was announced by his trust. The trust of Len Johnrose took to their Twitter and wrote a heartfelt message.
They penned down, “We are heartbroken to tell you that our leader, Len Johnrose passed away this morning.
Len was an incredibly proud husband and father. Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this very sad time”.
Speaking of his career, the former midfielder began his career at Blackburn Rovers at the age of 14.
After impressing everyone with his amazing performance, he was signed up by Hartlepool United for £50,000. He made more than 50 appearances while scoring 11 goals for the United team.
Later, he was signed by Bury where he played a central role in their rise to Division One.
The Manager Syan Ternent was so amazed by his performances that he went on to pay £225,000 to take him to his new club Burnley in 1999.
However, in the year 2004, the English football player who amazed everyone with his performances retired from the football for good. After retiring from professional soccer, he became a Teacher at St. Silas CE Primary School in Blackburn, England and during his years as a professional footballer, he welcomed daughters named Chanel and Elizabeth. His net worth stood at $2 million.
Tributes Poured In
After learning the news of their former member’s death, the Pool took to their official Twitter and penned down, “We are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of former Poolie, Len Johnrose.
A man who inspired so many. Our condolences and best wishes to Len’s family and friends”.
Johnrose’ hometown club Preston also paid the tributes to the retired player. They penned down as “sadness” at the news of Len Johnrose’ passing.
His former Club, Burnley also paid tributes to their former player. They took to their Twitter handle and wrote, “We’re saddened to hear of the passing of former player Len Johnrose.

Back in July, During an interview with BBC Radio Lancashire, Johnrose said that he was aware of his situation and he is also “aware that he could die at any time”.
