ACL injury forced Alves to miss the entire season.

Alves revealed the news of his damaged ACL in a status update on his Instagram page. Alves acknowledged that this ailment will keep him out for the remainder of the year. The previous week, he claimed, had been “full of ups and downs.” Alves was the victim of the frightening tackle immediately after making his second appearance for the senior Foxes team against the  Wolves.

Alves will begin his rehabilitation process in the upcoming weeks, followed by surgery, according to coach Brendon Rogers. It’s such a pity for a young lad who is just 17 and who is really breaking into the game and making his mark in training and the way he’s been, said Rogers.

Many football supporters have expressed their outrage at this occurrence and have criticised the tackling defender, Caden Voice. Even Leicester City star and England international James Maddison deemed the hit “awful” and expressed his “devastation for young Will.”
