Riot Games has previewed the impending Star Guardian League of Legends in-game event, know its leaks, skins and release date in 2022
Fans should brace themselves for the reintroduction of an iconic League skyline next month.
League of Legends Star Guardian Event 2022 Release Date, Champions, Skins And Leaks
The Star Guardian 2022 event will begin on July 14, according to an official teaser trailer released by Riot earlier today.
The teaser film “Return to Valoran City” includes pictures and symbolism from the Star Guardian skin collection.
In classic Star Guardian fashion, thematic elements and modern animation art styles are thoroughly incorporated.
The teaser image is reminiscent of Japanese animated films from the twenty-first century, such as 5 Centimeters a Second and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time.
The video concludes with a title card for such Star Guardian event, which features League of Legends symbols.
The event could be used in all three games, including Wild Rift and Legends of Runeterra. There have been no new skins again for the Star Guardian skinline, which is one of League’s most popular, since 2020.
Nilah, a new melee ADC in League of Legends, is expected to be released with the Star Guardian skin.
Star Guardian by Riot Games was a huge hit. There have been three events so far, each of which has elicited a significant response from the community.
The first Star Guardian skins are published in 2016, and the roster was further expanded in 2017. The latter was one of Riot’s most successful events, with new game kinds designed specifically for the occasion.

After that, the 2019 event unveiled four new skins, however, they were a letdown in comparison to 2017. According to the most recent leaks, Star Guardian 2022 will be the most important event of the year.
Big Bad Bear, a reputable League of Legends leaker, claimed to have the first look at Star Guardian Seraphine a few weeks ago.
It’s widely assumed that this is a Wild Rift-only item. While Riot has still yet to confirm whether the claims are accurate, it’s safe to assume they are.
In the video, the community whistleblower also revealed that the release skin for League of Legends’ future champion Nilah will be a Star Guardian Nilah.
