The majority of League of Legends Champions Korea (LCK) teams are sticking to their springtime lineups for the next July Split, which begins on June 15, know the schedule and teams

LCK 2022 Summer is the second split of South Korea’s renamed professional League of Legends league, now in its tenth year.

This year’s competition has ten teams fighting in the double round-robin group phase.

The best-of-three format is used to decide the matches. The top six teams will advance to the playoffs, with the top two getting a “bye” to the semifinals.

All of the competing teams are looking to compete for League of Legends Worlds 2022 in the final Split of the year, with big names on their rosters. T1, Gen.G, DWG KIA, and Hanwha Life Esports all have qualified for Worlds 2021 and will once again represent the area.

DRX

Kim “Deft” Hyuk-kyu and Cho “BeryL” Geon-hee, a formidable bot-support duo, propelled DRX into a pro powerhouse. They finished fourth in the regular Spring season with a fantastic 11-7 record, a great upgrade over the player’s 10th place performance in the Summer of 2021.

DRX appears to be sticking with the same lineup for Summer 2022, despite an early exit from the Spring playoffs.

Fans expect DWG KIA to dominate once more in the LCK Summer Split 2022, thanks to the highly anticipated return of top laner Jang “Nuguri” Ha-gwon, who was a member of the team’s 2020 World Championship squad.

Fans expect DWG KIA to dominate once more in the LCK Summer Split 2022, thanks to the highly anticipated return of top laner Jang “Nuguri” Ha-gwon, who was a member of the team’s 2020 World Championship squad.

Nuguri last played in the LPL 2021 for FunPlus Phoenix before taking a hiatus in the spring. To revive the chemistry that made DWG famous, Nuguri reunites alongside Kim “Canyon” Geon-bu and Heo “ShowMaker” Su.

Fredit BRION qualified for the LCK playoffs for the first time with an 8-10 record in the 2022 Spring Split.

While BRO is quickly gaining a reputation in the League of Legends pro arena, with mid-laner Kim “Lava” Tae-hoon managing the team’s aggressive efforts.

KT Rolster

KT Rolster still is struggling to make an impression on the LCK. While fourth place in the LCK Spring 2020 is KT’s best finish in the recent decade.
