The Le Mans as a venue and race track initially began way back in 1923, and this year’s event takes place 100 years since then. This year’s event also take place in the same month as the WEC.

The Circuit de La Sarthe will serve as the venue for the Le Mans Classic 2023.
Race dates
The upcoming event will be held starting from 29 June to 3 July. The event follows the recently concluded 24 Hours of Le Mans, which took place on 10 and 11 June. The 24h endurance race has previously featured Formula 1 drivers like Michael Schumacher, Jenson Button, Graham Hill, Juan Pablo Montoya, and more.
Le Mans Classic
The Le Mans Classic is usually held once every two years but is back for an another third straight year in 2023. This is because of the Covid-related cancellations across the past years. As far as motorsport gatherings are concerned, the Le Mans Classic is arguably one of the biggest and best established.
Last year in 2022, over 190,000 fans attended the sport-chic festival, including classic drivers and celebrities. Besides the official events, fans can explore the paddock where they can get to see the iconic machines up close. There are also various off-track activities like live entertainment, music, dancing, and exceptional cuisine.
The 24 hours of Le Mans race
The Le Mans Classic generally follows on with the 24 hours of Le Mans race, which is the most-anticipated event of the World Endurance Championship calendar. Notably, Hollywood movie star Michael Fassbender has also competed across the last three events. The race also took place at the Circuit de la Sarthe a couple of weeks before the Classic event. The race features Endurance Racing Legends, Porsche Classics and large grids of cars.
Le Mans Classic 2023 how to book the right tickets
Fans can ideally purchase tickets to the Le Mans Classic 2023 through Motorsport Tickets. The event features various ticket options like the General Enclosure ticket and Grandstand tickets. Fans can watch the racing from across several locations across the track using a General Enclosure ticket.
Meanwhile, fans with a Grandstand ticket will have a reserved seat in one of Le Mans’ many grandstands for the entire weekend. Motorsport Tickets also offers various packages for the upcoming Le Mans Classic, which include accommodation, entry, paddock access, and even the ferry crossing.
