The audience will witness the 89th edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans this weekend at the Circuit de la Sarthe in France. It will mark the beginning of a new era in one of the oldest active endurance racing event.
Endurance racing means that the drivers have to travel as much distance as possible in the span of 24 hours managing their repairs and keeping up with the necessary fuel requirements. Meanwhile, Hypercar class will now replace LMP1 as the top of the endurance racing pyramid.
