Who is Vishnu Shankar Jain?
Vishnu Shankar Jain is a renowned Indian lawyer, majorly known for his work as a Supreme Court lawyer. He has been in the news because he is currently involved in a case related to the Gyanvapi Mosque dispute.
He is from Lucknow and his father Hari Shankar Jain is a renowned lawyer or litigator in at least 12 instances regarding Hindu/Jain deities. Hari Shankar also represented the Hindu Mahasabha in the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Mosque issue.
Vishnu Shankar Jain began helping his father in 2010 after finishing his legal studies. He passed the test to become a Supreme Court attorney in 2016, and he made his first attendance in the court in the Sri Ram Janmabhoomi case in Ayodhya.
Together with Gyanvapi, the father-son team is defending Hindus in 110 other such disputed cases. This covers a number of cases, such as the Qutub Minar complex dispute, the Taj Mahal argument that it is a Shiva temple, and the Krishna Janmabhoomi-Shahi Idgah controversy in Mathura.
He also serves as the Hindu Justice Front’s spokesperson. He is currently 37 years old. He is married to Donna Jain.
Vishnu completed his law studies in 2010, after which he fought the case of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi in Ayodhya.
