Odom vs Izzy Drake Build-up, Animosity and Reason of Fight

Lamar Odom, a former NBA player, is prepared to face Izzy Drake in the ring for a few rounds. Izzy Drake, a well-known online personality, once challenged Drake, the singer of “Certified Lover Boy,” to a boxing bout. The Fake Drake is noted for his little similarity to the rapper and his heart-shaped haircut, which is done in the rapper’s well-known style.

The media figure allegedly challenged that if Drake lost the fight, he would pay a million dollars, and if Drake won, Izzy would alter his name and stop using Drake as a surname. For the rapper Drake, who recently sold his YOLO house in Hidden Hills for $12 million, a million dollars is certainly not out of reach. Odom volunteered to replace Drake in answer to the challenge. In a video he posted, the 42-year-old pledged to submit Fake Drake immediately during the battle, just like he had done in his prior contests on Celebrity Boxing.

A celebrity boxing battle is happening, but not with the person Fake Drake called out. The media personality had before challenged Drake to a Celebrity Boxing-hosted $1 million friendly boxing battle. Odom, a former NBA great, publicized his interest in the contest rather than the rapper. Damon Feldman from Celebrity Boxing reportedly confirmed the match to TMZ. In a pre-fight video that he shared, the former basketball player was wearing a Nipsey Hussle tee.

Odom will probably prevail in this fight thanks to his impressive height of 6’10” and his successful basketball career, which included championships with Kobe Bryant. The 42-year-old also has some boxing experience, at least in terms of competing against celebrities. In addition to his planned bout with the impersonator of Drake, Odom recently competed in and defeated a celebrity boxing match against Jennifer Lopez’s ex-husband, Ojani Noa. In their boxing bout from a year ago, he also knocked out Aaron Carter in the second round.

Fake Drake produced a video of himself preparing for the battle in reaction to Odom’s comment to his video. The video mostly showed the media figure dodging blows. The match is scheduled for October 15th, with Miami or Atlantic City as potential venues.

Why Instagram banned Izzy drake

Speaking of Instagram, Fake Drake was expelled for impersonating the rapper there not long after daring Drake to a celebrity boxing bout. On Saturday, Akademiks posted a photo of the Toronto rapper and his lookalike alongside the announcement on Instagram. In October 2021, Izzy made his debut as Drake’s impersonator at Club IV in Miami while wearing an OVO tracksuit. On their Instagram stories, musicians Justin LaBoy and Tory Lanez posted images of the media celebrity.
