Lallianzuala Chhangte is an Indian professional footballer who was born on 8 June 1997, in Lunglei, Mizoram, India. Chhangte primarily plays as a winger for Indian Super League club Mumbai City and for the India national football team.

Lallianzuala Chhangte is currently 26 years old and stands at a height of 1.67 m.

The Indian winger started out his football journey at DSK Shivajians’s Liverpool International Football Academy in 2014. Later in 2016, Chhangte and his fellow academy cadet and future Odisha FC teammate Jerry Mawihmingthanga, went to Liverpool. The pair trained at Liverpool’s youth academy at Kirkby for a short time.

Chhangte first entered the Indian football scene in 2015, when Stephen Constantine called him up to the national team for the 2015 SAFF Championship. Chhangte has since become a key player for the national team. Just recently in the Intercontinental Cup 2023, Chhagnte was the joint-top scorer alongside Sunil Chhetri. During the final match against Lebanon, Chhangte assisted Chhetri for the opening goal and then scored the second goal to seal win.

Throughout his club career, Chhangte has so far played for ISL clubs like NorthEast United, Odisha FC, Chennaiyin FC and Mumbai City. He has also played for DSK Shivajians in the I-League. He is currently the second all-time highest Indian goalscorer in ISL history only after Sunil Chhetri. Chhangte is also the sixth overall with 30 goals to his name across 109 appearances.

His ISL salary isn’t known. He is a Hindu by religion.
