Kyogo Furuhashi, Celtic’s star player, is supposedly a player Tottenham Hotspur is interested in obtaining as part of a prospective deal with Celtic manager Ange Postecoglou.
After moving to Celtic from Vissel Kobe in a £4.5 million move in 2021, the Japanese striker has had a huge effect, scoring an astonishing 34 goals in 50 games this season.
Tottenham is willing to spend between £25 million and £30 million on the signing of Kyogo Furuhashi, which would smash the Scottish transfer record since they see him as a versatile player who could support Harry Kane or perhaps surpass him.

He was born on 20 January 1995 in Ikoma, Nara, Japan. After completing his schooling, he attended Chuo University.
His height is 1.70 meters, or 5 feet 7 inches. Kyogo Furuhashi is currently 28 years old.
Japanese professional football player Kyogo Furuhashi is not married yet and doesn’t have a wife and Kyoto joined J2 League club FC Gifu in 2017.
He scored three goals with the Japanese national team in 2021 matches and in August 2021, he called out racism when fans from a rival team sang Anti-Asian songs in a video about him.
His mother is named Miwa but his father’s name isn’t known.
Kyogo Furuhashi earns a gross salary of £988,000 per season at Celtic and his weekly salary is £19,000 with him having a contract till 2025.

His career
Kyogo Furuhashi started his club career in 2017 at FC Gifu before moving on to Vissel Kobe in August of that same year, where he was instrumental in the team’s first-ever major cup final and Japanese Super Cup win.
He moved to Celtic for £4.5 million in July 2021, where he made an immediate impression, scoring on his debut and excelling in both domestic and European tournaments. Some of the biggest achievements in his career came when Furuhashi won the Scottish League Cup, finished first in scoring in the Scottish Premiership, and was named Player of the Year.
Kyogo Furuhashi made his international debut for Japan in 2019. However, supporters and media outlets were shocked when he was left off the team for the FIFA World Cup in 2022.
