A look at Kylian Mbappe’s presentation date and when will the Frenchman will be presented at Santiago Bernabeu as Real Madrid’s new player

Kylian Mbappe’s transfer dispute from PSG to Real Madrid has been one of the most talked-about tales in European football this season but the incomplete love story between the two is expected to be completed soon.

After his last game for Paris Saint-Germain, Kylian Mbappe stated that his future club will be confirmed shortly.

With PSG’s victory over Lyon to win the Coupe de France on Saturday night, the 25-year-old was able to cap off his time in the French capital.

He had been speculating about his future in France for years, but on May 10, he announced his departure, ending the rumours.

The best-kept football secret of them all is that Mbappe is set to join with the Spanish champions this summer, leaving Paris Saint-Germain behind.

Mbappe thinks his six years in the French capital have been tremendously successful despite this noticeable absence from his trophy case, and he still believes his moment will come.

The high profile forward did not promise to reveal his playing location before departing for France’s Euro 2024 national team assignment however, it’s pretty clear he is going to play in White shirt next and the Madridistas are curious about his presentation date.

When will Kylian Mbappe be presented at the Santiago Bernabeu?

It is expected that Kylian Mbappe will be presented at the Santiago Bernabeu soon after the UEFA Champions League final between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund on June 1. The official statement is yet to be made though regarding the presentation’s date and schedule.

He is set to sign a five-year deal with Real, earning 15m euros (£12.8m) a season, plus a 150m euro (£128m) signing-on bonus to be paid over five years. He will also keep a percentage of his image rights.

According to reports, Los Blancos are preparing a lavish presentation for the World Cup winner and 2022 finalist. However, the fans are surely going to miss him playing with their magician and midfield master Toni Kroos who recently announced his retirement.

The German is set to play in his final-ever club match, having announced that he will hang up his boots after the European Championships with Germany this summer.

While the Madrid fans lose their favourite star, Mbappe’s arrival might make it a bit easier as they bear the pain of the sudden announcement of his retirement.
