Kyle Kuzma went onto tweet, “the rich don’t pay taxes” as he mocked the argument ensuing the news of Elon Musk having to pay $11 billion in tax for 2021
At times its best if basketball players just stick to playing basketball. However with them gaining recognition and a sizeable fan following, players from the NBA are often seen dabbing their way into facets they have no expertise in with them going onto talk and tweet about just everything under the sun.
Kyle Kuzma Throws His Weight Behind Elon Musk, Gets Ripped For His Tweet On Taxes
Kyle Kuzma decided he wanted to go the same way. Tired of being belittled for his oversized sweaters, Kuzma decided it was time for him to mock the, “the rich don’t pay taxes argument” as he sent out a tweet in support of Elon Musk who drew up a gargantuan $11 billion tax bill.

For those wondering, I will pay over $11 billion in taxes this year
— Elon Musk (@elonmusk) December 20, 2021
Kuzma went onto quote the story of Musk coughing up the amount in taxes for 2021 with him sarcastically writing, “the rich don’t pay taxes”. It was a tweet which found no love though with people quick to school Kuzma and teach him the basic idea of the phrase, one which was used to imply that ultra wealthy people didn’t pay enough in taxes.
Kuzma was wiped the floor with by people livid at him defending the super rich with many also calling out Kuzma’s lack of knowledge. The Wizards player meanwhile hasn’t had things any better on the court as well with his side having fallen to 17-17 this season after a tearaway 10-3 start.
