On June 19, 1993, 28 year old Olajide Olayinka Williams Olatunji who has a height of 1.83m was born. His mother, Yinka, is from Islington, London, while his father, Jide, is from Ibadan, Nigeria. He was born in Watford, Hertfordshire, and attended Berkhamsted School in Berkhamsted, where he met future Sidemen colleague Simon Minter.

Following public conflicts on Twitter and diss-tracks, KSI and British YouTuber Joe Weller stated that they will settle their feud by hosting an amateur boxing bout on February 3, 2018 at Copper Box Arena in London. KSI won the bout by technical knockout 1 minute and 37 seconds into the third round.
On February 24, 2018, it was reported that KSI would compete in a white-collar boxing amateur boxing contest against Logan Paul. The fight finished in a majority draw, with two judges scoring it 57–57 in favour of KSI and a third judge scoring it 58–57 in KSI’s favour.
Eddie Hearn promoted a rematch between KSI and Paul on November 9, 2019 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The rematch, unlike the first, was a professional bout without the usage of headgear. KSI earned the nickname of “The Nightmare” inside the ring.
