The 3rd edition of the Maharaja Trophy T20 KSCA 2024 is set to kick off on Thursday, at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru with the tickets now out
For the unversed, the tournament which honor the last kind of Mysore, the late Srikantadatta Narasimharaja Wodiyar, is organized by the Karnataka State Cricket Association, also called as KSCA.
On July 25, a mini-auction took place, where numerous high-profile Karnataka cricketers went under the hammer.

As aforesaid, Organized by the KSCA, the Maharaja Trophy T20 2024 will run from August 15 to September 1 at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. The T20 league will feature a total of 6 teams, competing in double round-robin format, with a total of 33 games.
These games will culminate in the final, which is scheduled to be held on Sunday, September 1, 2024.
Maharaja Trophy T20 2024 Teams
The 6 participating teams are:
Gulbarga Mystics,
Mysuru Warriors,
Bengaluru Blasters,
Shivamogga Lions,
Mangalore Dragons,
Hubli Tigers.
As aforesaid, the league stage will consist of 30 games, followed by two semi-finals and a final. Let us remind you, last season’s finale saw the Hubli Tigers winning by 8 runs against Mysuru Warriors.
The Tigers posted a total of 203, thanks to Mohammed Taha’s 72-run innings, while the Warriors fell short, finishing at 195/8 despite Ravikumar Samarth’s valiant 63 off 35 balls.
Maharaja Trophy T20 2024 First Match
The auction, held last month at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, saw keeper-batter L. R. Chethan emerge as the most expensive player, acquired by the Blasters for Rs. 8.6 lakh.
Veteran players Shreyas Gopal traded for Rs. 7.60 lakh for Dragons and K. Gowtham for Rs. 7.4 lakh for Warriors also fetched substantial amounts in the auction.
The tournament will kick off with a match between Gulbarga Mystics and Bengaluru Blasters on Thursday, August 15, at 3 PM IST, followed by a clash between Shivamogga Lions and Mysuru Warriors later the same day.

As per the Paytm Insider website, there are five ticket categories available for the Maharaja Trophy T20 2024, priced at ₹150, ₹200, ₹300, ₹490, and ₹700, distributed across six stands.
The most expensive ticket is for the P Corporate stand, where fans are likely to enjoy food and beverage facilities.
