KRAFTON introduces BGMI Beta Tester in India
KRAFTON Inc., the South Korean video game holding company, who are behind the highly popular Battlegrounds Mobile India has recently introduced a Beta Tester programme for select users in India.
While announcing the news, Sean Hyunil Sohn, CEO of KRAFTON India, stated the following in a press statement:
We are highly grateful to the Indian authorities for allowing us to resume operations of Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI). We would like to extend our gratitude to our Indian gaming community for their support and patience over the past few months. We are excited to announce that Battlegrounds Mobile India will be available for download soon and we cannot wait to welcome you back to our platform. We believe in the power of gaming to bring people together and create unforgettable experiences.”
How to join BGMI Beta Tester
Interested fans can try joining the BGMI Beta Tester programme by downloading the programme Apk from the official website link. After going to the website, users will receive a message from KRAFTON. The message will inform users about their eligibility to install the app on their device.
The message will either read:
App not available for this account. Your account isn’t currently eligible for this app’s testing program”
Or:
If you’ve been invited to become a tester, make sure you’re signed in to the account that was invited to the testing program. If you’ve been invited to a Google Group as part of the program, make sure you’ve joined the Group.”
BGMI Beta Tester expected release date
Despite the news about the BGMI Beta Tester programme, there is no information available about the game’s exact release date. Rajeev Chandrasekhar, who is the Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship of India, recently mentioned in his tweet that KRAFTON will resume BGMI in India with a 3-month trial approval.
During this time, the concerned authorities are set to keep a watch on the users. Rajeev stated that the authorities will determine whether the game is harmful and addictive for the users. Following which they will then make the final call about releasing the game.
