South Korean singer Haesoo was discovered dead in her hotel room last week in a tragic turn of events.
Naver reported that on May 12, police discovered a body in her hotel room. However, they later established that it was a 29-year-old trot singer, who passed away. According to Naver, the police found a message that they believe was written by her just before she passed away.

Her colleagues shared the sad news of her passing on May 15. In a statement, it stated that Haesoo passed away on May 12 and that the funeral will be performed in private. The singer’s crew also begged people not to share untrue information about her. The statement added,
We express our condolences on the final remaining journey of the deceased.
Since then, she has been the trending topic of discussion, with many people discussing and speculating about her cause of death. While many people claimed on social media that she took her own life because of work pressure, another set of people said that online bullying claimed her life.

Who was Haesoo?
Haesoo was a well-known South Korean singer and performer. She has been in the news because she tragically passed away on May 12 at the age of 29.
Her real name was Kim Ara. She was born on December 3, 1993, in South Korea. After completing her schooling at a local school, she attended the Korea National University of Arts in Seoul, South Korea. While there, she graduated with a bachelorโs in pansori (Korean traditional music).
Haesoo was reportedly unmarried when she died, and she was not even in a relationship with anyone. Her height was 4 feet 4 inches, and her weight was 50g. She passed away on May 12, 2023. At the time of her death, she was just 29 years old.
Her career
After becoming interested in trot music, Haesoo made her singing debut in 2019 by releasing her debut album, “My Life, I Will.” She subsequently released her second album, “Kongmuni,” in 2021. She rose to fame after she started appearing on KBS’s hit music TV program “Immortal Songs 2” in 2023.
