Virat Kohli was seen lashing out at SuperSport on day 3 of the SA vs IND 3rd test match, a gesture which didn’t go down too well with Gautam Gambhir
Although the DRS massively messed up to accord Dean Elgar a massive reprieve off Ravichandran Ashwin on Thursday during day 3 of the South Africa vs India 3rd test match, India’s reaction towards the incident was completely misplaced.
As Hawkeye offered a baffling analysis with an unprecedented bounce seeing Elgar remain at the crease, the Indian team went up in arms lead by captain Virat Kohli. The Indian captain was seen approaching the stump mic with him losing his marbles as he lashed out at broadcasters SuperSport and accused them of tampering with the DRS.
Gautam Gambhir Hits Out At Virat Kohli Over His Comments On SuperSport And DRS
His outlandish claims were reverberated by R Ashwin with KL Rahul joining in the chorus as well. However, with SuperSport having no part to play in the use of technology with DRS being purchased by an independent vendor, the Indian team’s qualms made for appalling viewing.

Gautam Gambhir has now weighed in on the massive brouhaha which imploded with him mincing no words in his assessment of what the India captain had done. He was livid at Kohli’s approach as he spoke about how his actions could never see him become a true role model for wonderkids.
“Kohli is very immature. It’s worst for an Indian captain to say like this in stumps. By doing this you will never be an idol to youngsters,” Gambhir said on Star Sports.
“In the first innings, you got a 50-50 call on caught behind then you were silent and in Mayank appeal too. I think Dravid will talk to him on this topic,” he added.
