For those unversed, Elma’s grandmother Telne was struggling to find out about her granddaughter’s love interest in Chapter 133, which was yet another wholesome and humorous chapter.

Everyone knows Elma is head over heels in love with Tohru, but Telne is blissfully unaware and follows Elma about to find out more. Telne feels excluded because no one has told her about the one Elma loves, and she wants to know about her granddaughter’s great secret as well.
They continue to avoid Telne’s questions and remain silent as they watch Telne make a mistake, even believing that Kobayashi’s coworker Takiya-san is Elma’s lover. Elma is annoyed to see her grandmother following her and arriving at her employment with Kobayashi and Tohru, and Telne is also concerned about Elma’s reaction. In the end, Telne is unable to discover Elma’s lover and ends up going to Takiya-san’s house to play games with him and Fafnir.
Previous chapter started with Telne wonders who Elma loves and realises that Kobayashi knows the answer because she remains unconcerned. Tohru is embarrassed by Telne’s query and tells her to ask Elma directly, lying that neither of them knows who the person is.
Telne is depressed because Elma was cold to Telne when she asked about it, telling her she wouldn’t answer her question if she couldn’t figure it out on her own.
Telne concludes that she must seek the answer for herself and chooses to keep an eye on Elma for the entire day. Kobayashi is upset when she discovers Telne intends to follow her to her office, and Tohru comes along to keep an eye on Telne.
