The TDP leader has been dismissed from the party by the officials.
The cops have booked Vinod Jain, who participated in the recent municipal elections on a ticket of TDP under the act of POCSO, and Vinod Jain has been suspended from the party.

A minor girl in Vijayawada died by suicide after the girl alleged that a leader of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) had sexually harassed her for more than 2 to 3 months. This 14-year-old girl was found dead at her home in the Bhavanipuram area on Saturday, January 29.
A written note was found after the suicide, which cops later recovered from her bedroom, the 9th Class girl wrote that she was ending her life due to the sexual harassment which is done by Vinod Jain who resides in the same building where she lives.

Vinod Jain had been associated with the ticked of TDP from the 37th division of the Vijayawada, West constituency and he is around 60 years of age. Vinod Jain has been booked under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences under the POCSO Act. Vinod has also been reportedly booked for the abetment of suicide. There is no information on his family.
Moreover, the state Women’s commission of Andhra Pradesh chairperson, Vasireddy Padma said that the government has taken this incident very seriously and that all efforts will be made to make sure that the culprit, Vinod Jain gets stringent punishment as soon as possible.
Vinod Jain Arrested
The cops have arrested the accused person, who recently participated in the municipal elections as a corporation on a ticket of TDP.
The little girl’s grandfather Manikyala Rao told in the media that Vinod looked disturbed since the morning of 29th January but did not say anything when Vinod was enquired. His grandfather said that when he and his daughter were going for an evening walk, the young girl came to them and hugged her mother tightly to say I love you.
When her grandfather and mother returned home from their evening walk, they were shocked and scared to learn that she had died by doing suicide. The grandfather said that police recovered a note of suicide from her bedroom in which the girl wrote how Vinod Jain had been allegedly sexually harassing her for 2 to 3 months.
