When Was The Bulli Bai App Launched, Meaning And How To Register?
On January 1, ‘Bulli Bai’ was released. When the link was first established, it displayed a Muslim woman’s face as ‘Bulli Bai’ with Bullideals of the day offering special pictures and photos for sale. According to official information, GitHub has confirmed that the user who was behind the ‘Bulli Bai’ portal has been blocked.
Bulli Bai App Founders And Download
The app developers and founders are unknown but it is said to be Khalistanis who made it with the platform even promoting pro-Khalistan content and it was hosted on the GitHub app. The creator has been blocked as confirmed by the IT ministry.
The app can be downloaded her using its APK file.
Controversy And FIRs Against It
While there was no actual sale, the internet application – which was created on Microsoft’s free software development site GitHub – was designed to “degrade and humiliate vocal Muslim women.”
After her doctored picture was put on ‘Bulli Bai,’ a woman working as a journalist for an online portal filed a complaint with the Delhi Police’s Cyber Cell.
Separate first information reports (FIRs) were filed by police in Delhi and Mumbai, and investigations were launched. The Indian Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT) and police authorities are coordinating action in connection with the ‘Bulli Bai’ matter, as per Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw.
The National Commission for Women (NCW) took note of the female journalist’s accusation and wrote to the Delhi Police, urging them to act quickly to prevent similar crimes from happening again.
