In 2015, La Liga passed a bill that ensured the collective sale of La Liga tv rights both domestically and overseas. Telefonica, Movistar bought domestic rights for around €1.89 billion in a 3-year deal. Clubs receive this money in three divisions. 50% of the money is equally shared, rest 25% are based on the club’s performance and merit. This means their position in the league. And the rest 25% from generating resources like fans, club members, stadium and etc.

The CVC deal is for 50 years which will take a share of 10% from the TV and broadcasting rights. The firm will distribute a large amount of money to all the clubs participating in the league.
Prize Money For 2021/22 Season
La Liga have not officially announced the numbers, but we can expect a number between €45m and €50m. Fans are back in the stadium, which means, clubs will earn more from the resources when compared to last season.
