Philip Walter Foden has won a total of 11 trophies in his career and he is just 21-years old. Furthermore, Foden is not one of the strongest young players like Erling Halland, but his skills are too good for a football player. The Manchester City manager described him as “more of a midfielder”. Although Foden made his debut back in the 2017-18 season, his best season was 2020/21.

Foden won the U17 World Cup with England and that gave him a breakthrough. Moreover, he scored his first Premier League goal in the 2018/19 season. He increases his tally of goals to 5 in the next season.

And, in season 2020/21 it was all about Phil Foden as he scored 9 goals and assisted 5 times. Furthermore, in a crucial match against Liverpool Foden scored one goal and assisted once to mark the first City win at Anfield since 2003.

Foden helped City to reach their first UEFA Champions League final where they lost to Chelsea. Moreover, he had 16 goals and 10 assists in his bag at the end of the season in all competitions. Foden has now won three Premier Leagues with City and four EFL cups. Although, their first UCL trophy still remains a question.

He is now going to represent England in Euro 2020 and they are favorites to win the trophy according to the odds. Additionally, Foden will play an important role in the final third and he is likely to play in the position where Lingard used to play for Gareth Southgate’s team.
