Klay Thompson Injury Update: When Will We See Him Play Again?
To give a bit of context to his injury, Klay Thompson torn his ACL in his left knee in June 2019. This put him in sidelines for the whole upcoming season. To top that off, Thompson injured his leg yet again in November 2020 during an offseason workout. Before being injured, Thompson was averaging 21.5 points per game for the Golden State Warriors.
Thompson had become a vital part of the Warriors time and his presence was crucial for the team. His absence of the entirety of the 2020-21 season proved to be very harming to the Warriors’ title hopes. Missing out on such an important player is never good for a team and the Warriors’ certainly paid for it. The team however, is optimistic about his return this season and will hope to challenge for the title yet again.
Thompson underwent a knee surgery in November last year and has been working hard in rehab to get his knee to where it was earlier. Much to the liking of the fans reports suggest that Thompson could well be on his way back for some basketball action after over a year.
