King the Land and See You in My 19th Life Kdrama release date and time in India on Netflix
K-dramas had been on everyone’s list of films to binge-watch. The variety of K-dramas available to viewers includes everything from romance to drama to action and thrillers. If May brought you Kim Woo-bin’s Black Knight and Lee Dong-wook’s Tale of the Nine Tailed 1938, June will bring you Lee Jun-ho, YoonA.
However, Netflix has changed its course of release and dub versions.
When Will Netflix India Release King The Land?
On June 17 and 18, the JTBC romantic comedy directed by Im Hyun-wook, King the Land, aka Kingdeolaendeu, released its first two episodes. It stars Lee-ho, Lim Yoon-a (Yoona), Go Won-hee, Kim Ga-eun, Ahn Se-ha and Jae-won in the lead roles.
For K-drama lovers in India, Netflix is going to release the series on June 13, 2023, and it will also be dubbed in Hindi. However, it’s still not confirmed if the series will have English subtitles.
When Will Netflix India Release See You in My 19th Life?
Last weekend, See You In My 19th Life, aka Ibeon Saengdo Jal Butghae, directed by Lee Na-jung, released its first two episodes. This series is currently unavailable for Indian viewers.
Shin Hye-sun, Ahn Bo-hyun, Ha Yoon-Kyung, Ahn Dong-goo, Cha Chung-hwa, Baek Seung-chul, Lee Jae-kyoon, Kim Si-a, Lee Hae-young, Bae Hae-sun, Bin Chan-uk, and others will be seen in the romantic comedy.
According to Netflix India, the premiere date for See You in My 19th Life is June 29, 2023. The show will also be made available in Hindi.
Netflix’s K-drama with English Subtitles
Many K-drama fans in India have been dissatisfied with the choice to distribute Korean dramas later than planned and not in their native tongue. Some others expressed their dissatisfaction on Twitter. In their tweets, they have labelled the OTT site and asked and demanded that they remove the programmes in their original language with English subtitles.
The Kdramas have historically always been released on Netflix India at the same time as they were on the original TV stations. Dramas would transition into Korean and then English subtitles. As a result, the decision surprised many Indian fans. Hometown Cha Cha Cha, Hospital Playlist, Twenty-Five Twenty One, Business Proposal, Extraordinary Attorney Woo, and other Kdramas have all achieved great success in the past.
Why @NetflixIndia why would you not release King the land & See you in my 19th life episodes right away – you can release Hindi dubbed versions later whenever you want to – what’s with this strange marketing strategy
